Was somewhat torn between a “Life Updates” and a “Looking Ahead” banner for this one, but I figured since it was a bit of both, I’d let “Looking Ahead” get a moment in the spotlight. I feel like I don’t really use that one much anymore.
It’s been a hot minute, hasn’t it? I’m just trucking along here, in my littler corner of the universe, accruing a few more projects and finally doing a few shows, which I haven’t really been putting in for since last fall. I’ve also got a zine coming out — yay! — and another one in the application stages, and the final steps of my Big Secret Collaborative Project on the horizon, so I’m very excited about all that.
So, that being said:
Notable Upcoming Projects
- I will have an NSFW story published in an upcoming Red Dwarf zine that I am very proud of, lol. If you are a fan and are interested, please reach out; I talk freely about my fannish participation, but I do keep space between my fannish and non-fannish art, so I won’t be advertising here.
- I was commissioned once again my the MCSP to provide art for their Uplifting Visions Project! You can see my art used throughout their social media campaigns most likely this summer and fall.
- I will be exhibiting as part of Essex Art Center’s Salon Show this July and August, details to follow!
- I am hopeful for acceptance into the Chalk Gallery’s Pride Month exhibit, as they proactively reached out to me this year and I had such a lovely experience with them last year. I’m also super excited about the pieces I’m submitting this year — it seemed like a no-brainer to do something celebrating my own trans-ness as well as being in a t4t relationship, so my focal point for my art this year is all about starting my HRT journey.
- I am applying to Tapling Zine’s latest project centering queer artists — I have my fingers crossed, but I didn’t make it last time, so I’m staying realistic about it, lol.
- My Secret Big Collaborative Project is on it’s final few months before all assets are due in and we can start talking about it in less hush-hush tones, and I am incredibly excited for it.
All this to say, I suppose, I have been keeping — and am continuing to keep — moderately busy, lol. I have some projects I am hoping to get off the ground myself in the next few months, but I’m not even going to start talking about them until I know exactly what form I want them to take and how I’m going to go about them. But it’s undeniably nice to have projects you’re excited about, you know?
Anyway, hope all is well in your neck of the woods. More info about the above coming soon, hopefully. If any of the events I’m participating in are in your vicinity, please check them out and support local and community art and small artists!

Take care of yourselves, and each other.
